I had recently moved back to the area when I received a phone call from the local Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). During the call, a staff member told me to “try harder” to speak on the telephone, not just with certain people but with anyone regarding my health needs.

If you’ve seen my previous post, “There’s Nothing You Have That Worries Me,” this was the same person. Now, they were raising their voice and telling me to simply try harder to talk to them on the phone, despite already being aware of the difficulties I experience with telephone communication.
